In the heart of Jaipur, dwells a dream born from the creative instincts of brothers Paritosh and Priyank Mehta. Driven by their fascination for local crafts and culture, they embarked on an evolutionary journey and interpreted one-of-a-kind trunks to treasure collectibles, passions, tradition, memories.
Trunks Company was a start-up luxury brand that competed with renowned luxury labels such as Louis Vuitton and Goyard to name a few. These iconic brands defined the space and invested heavily in traditional media. As a result, they were better known to market influencers and consumers. After multiple meetings with Paritosh and Priyank, the strategy devised encompassed creative communication and strategic partnerships that would engage and influence key decision-makers in India and internationally.
Christian Louboutin is a French fashion designer whose high-end stiletto footwear incorporates shiny, red-lacquered soles that have become his signature. Initially a freelance designer for fashion houses, he started his own shoe salon in Paris, with his shoes finding favour with celebrity clientele. He has partnered with other organisations for creative projects including limited edition pieces, gallery exhibits, and a custom bar. His company has since branched out into men's footwear, handbags, fragrances and makeup.
Considering both brands were targeting and engaging the same customer, a Christian Louboutin Trunk with a specific focus on bespoke luxury and weddings was pitched. This was then brought to life by Trunks company ahead of the launch of the Christian Louboutin Wedding Service. The idea of two luxury brands, one French and the other Indian working together in delivering an unrivalled experience through this bespoke service went on display at the Christian Louboutin Atelier in Mumbai.
